Experience the anti-aging “miracle mask”. Used by US celebrity facialists Shani Darden and Georgia Louise, and top A-list celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kate Hudson, Chrissy Teigen and Madonna, this state-of-the-art LED light therapy treatment emits a range of light frequencies to encourage cellular rejuvenation. It uniquely adds near-infrared light that promotes circulation and healing, targeting specific cells and molecules. This is ideal for managing wrinkle reduction, skin rejuvenation, pH and moisture balance, and acne-prone skin.
There is no specific aftercare after having LED light therapy. However, it is recommended that you protect your skin with an SPF50+ sunscreen to avoid any trauma or damage to the skin. If you have LED light skin therapy after a skin or injectable treatment, it is advised that you follow the aftercare of the treatment provided by your therapist or treating doctor.
We conduct a thorough skin analysis to determine your needs comprehensively and accurately. Your age, skin condition and goals for your skin will dictate the length and number of treatments required to achieve the optimal result. For most common skin conditions, a minimum of 8 to 10 treatments is required. It is safe and effective for all skin types, ages and ethnic groups.
After the first LED light therapy treatment, you may experience some tightness and slight redness to your skin. After the third LED skin therapy session, your skin should feel smoother and appear brighter and hydrated. You’ll notice your skin lines and folds may be noticeably diminished.
Your face will be cleansed in order to remove any dirt on it. Our dermal therapist will place a mask on your face and leave you under the light for 10 to 20 minutes. Although it can be quite bright, the light is completely safe.
Although you will have to protect your skin by using moisturiser and sunscreen for 48 hours after the procedure, LED light therapy is a safe and gentle procedure that requires no downtime.
While the light can be bright, the mask you wear will protect your eyes. The light will make your skin feel warm, but you should not feel any pain.
Unlike invasive procedures like laser therapy, LED light skin therapy will not burn your skin or cause any pain.
Our dermal therapists will recommend that there be four weeks between treatments. The number of treatments you require will depend on the skin concern being treated.
